Good afternoon members of the RTC Alumni Network

This email is being sent as a “Thank You” with sincere gratitude for your generosity in responding to a call of action from Vince Fernandes and his Mom, Nina Fernandes. Your response to that call with a donation of $4,175.82 directed towards Chalice’s Kalimbene water project was greatly appreciated and a 4 page PDF report with photos from the recent opening ceremony of the new Kalimbene water distribution points is attached. Vince and Nina started this call to action out of love and in memory of their dearly missed Father and Husband, the late Albert Fernandes. Their efforts were a beautiful testimony to the generous person he was and a loving way to honor his memory. When something starts with love, it has a special way of growing in love. The result of this initiative is a perfect example of what God does through those who hear his call and boldly respond in kind.

Your generous support of Vince and Nina’s memorial to Albert gave people of Kenya the gift of hope by satisfying their basic human need for access to clean water. I hope your hearts are overflowing with love, peace and joy as it is extended back tenfold to you from the children and families who are the benefactors of your generosity.

On behalf of Chalice, Vince, Nina, and the communities supported by the Kalimbene water project, the next time you take a drink of water, please remember our heartfelt “Thank you!“
