I was recently hospitalised- not with Covid-19 . Now sitting at home slowly recovering I am putting pen to paper to trace my life back from when I went to the Royal Technical College.I was among the first batch of students who joined the Royal Technical College of East Africa in May 1956. I enrolled in the Faculty of Architecture and was there until term ending 1959 when I started working for Vamos and Partners Architects.

We know that RTC alumni and staff have achieved fame and fortune in a wide variety of professional activities all over the world. We would love them to write their autobiographies and submit them for inclusion in our RTC archives. We would be proud to read how our alumni have contributed their time and talents to making the world a better place.

Our RTC alumni Nathaniel Khadambi Asalache left the house that he created to the National Trust after his untimely death in 2006. It just became London's newest museum and will be preserved as Asalache left it

After the Reunion in Scottsdale nearly US$4200 was donated to Chalice towards the Kalimbene Water Project in Kenya. Call to action to fund the project in memory of our friend Albert Fernandez was taken up by his family who also matched all the contributions. The project has now been completed.

After the Reunion in Trinidad & Tobago, over TT$20,000 was donated to The Children’s Ark, a registered, charitable, non-profit organization, specifically catering to the needs of marginalized and ‘at risk’ children, within T&T society. Arun and Detta Buch recently presented a check to the organization's directors on behalf of the RTC Alumni.
